With the good weather, there is nothing better than a good dip, on a beautiful sailboat, without the crowds of the beach, enjoying the sunset and sea for ourselves at the Sailing and Language Exchange by the coast of Barcelona. In addition, on board there is a paddle surf and a brand new dragging «donut»! Who will be the first adventurous? 🙂

Places are very limited, only 10 people, so you have to book in advance. Payments until the previous Thursday are cheaper.

It includes:

2 hours sailing on a sailboat.

Possibility to swim in the open sea and to use the paddle surf and the dragging donut.

If you like, you can bring some drinks and snacks, as it is not included.

Meeting time: 7:45pm

Departure: 8pm.

Arrival: 10pm.

Navegando un domingo por la mañana – Una aventura con Barcelona Language Exchange

¿Buscas una experiencia única y refrescante para tu próximo domingo por la mañana? Únete la salida en velero del domingo de Barcelona Language Exchange, que incluye la combinación de aprendizaje de idiomas y navegación en un impresionante entorno costero. Recientemente tuve la oportunidad de disfrutar de esta inolvidable experiencia, y no veo la hora de compartir mi recomendación contigo.

El encanto de una nueva experiencia navegando

Durante el fin de semana, tuve la oportunidad especial de hacer una salida en velero con Barcelona Language Exchange. He navegado varias veces antes, pero en un pequeño barquito de vela que no podía albergar a más de tres personas, así que estaba muy emocionada. Esta aventura me permitió explorar las aguas abiertas con un grupo de entusiastas de los idiomas afines a mí. Charlamos en varios idiomas y contamos historias, mientras la brisa del mar nos acariciaba el pelo. La perspectiva de expandir mis horizontes de navegación fue realmente emocionante.

Navegando hacia la serenidad

Cuando nuestro velero partió de la costa, los participantes se presentaron, compartiendo sus idiomas nativos y los que les gustaría aprender. Con el impresionante contorno de Barcelona desvaneciéndose en la distancia, majestuosas montañas emergían a nuestra derecha, cautivándonos con su grandeza. La impresionante belleza del entorno me dejó sin palabras, mientras la transición perfecta entre el océano infinito y el cielo desdibujaba el horizonte. En medio de este impresionante telón de fondo, conversaciones interesantes con otros viajeros llenaron el aire, mientras que el suave calor del sol proporcionaba la excusa perfecta para recostarse en la proa del barco.

Una zambullida refrescante en las aguas azules

Para combatir el calor del verano, decidimos darnos un refrescante chapuzón en el océano. Nadar en aguas abiertas, lejos de la orilla, con el velero anclado, creó una sensación única de aventura. La camaradería entre los participantes fomentó numerosas conversaciones divertidas, fue maravilloso conocer a nuevas personas, ¡todas de diferentes lugares!

En resumen, navegar un domingo por la mañana con Barcelona Language Exchange es una excelente oportunidad para combinar el aprendizaje de idiomas con una memorable aventura en velero. Las impresionantes vistas, los refrescantes baños y las interesantes conversaciones crean una experiencia inmersiva y enriquecedora que te dejará gratos recuerdos. Run «La Cursa del Corte Inglés» with us. Be part of The Team!

Due to COVID-19 we don’t know yet what will be the date of the race. We will update it as soon as it is released.

Run La Cursa del Corte Inglés with the Language Exchange International Team!

It doesn’t matter if you’re an advanced runner or just a beginner who would like to run her first race, this race is open to EVERYONE, so we would love to create the most International TEAM.

Joining the race is FREE, but if you want to run with the T-shirt that shows you belong to The Team, you can join us now!

Some no running volunteers are needed, to wait for the runners at Ciutadella Park, after the race, with some snacks. So, you can also join The Team even if you won’t run.

After the race we’ll gather all together to get some energy back, talk, laugh and take a Team’s photo!

TIME
Suggested arrival time 8:30am.
The race starts at 9am.
After race meeting at Ciutadella Park is anytime once you’ve finished the race. Until 1pm.

Be aware some runners have a chip that classifies them to begin in an advanced position, thus not all the Team will start from the same point. So approach the Team members you meet at your starting point.

¡Corre La Cursa del Corte Inglés con el Equipo Internacional del Intercambio de Idiomas!

No importa si eres un corredor experto o un principiante a quien le gustaría correr su primera carrera, esta carrera está abierta a TODO EL MUNDO, por lo que nos encantaría crear el EQUIPO más Internacional.

Unirse a la carrera es GRATIS, pero si quieres correr con la camiseta del Equipo, ¡puedes unirte a nosotros ahora!

Se necesitan algunos voluntarios que NO corran, para esperar a los corredores en el Parque de la Ciutadella, después de la carrera, con algunos snacks. Así que, también puedes unirte al Equipo incluso si no vas a correr.

Después de la carrera, nos reuniremos para recuperar energía, hablar, reír y tomar una foto del Equipo.

HORARIO
Hora de llegada sugerida 8:30 am.
La carrera comienza a las 9 a.m.
El encuentro después de la carrera en el Parque de la Ciutadella es en cualquier momento una vez que hayas terminado la carrera. Hasta las 13h.

Ten en cuenta que algunos corredores tienen un chip que los clasifica para comenzar en una posición avanzada, por lo tanto, no todo el equipo comenzará desde el mismo punto. Así que, acércate a los miembros del Equipo que encuentres en tu punto de partida.

Punto de encuentro después de la carrera: Parque de la Ciutadella.
Algunos voluntarios estarán allí esperando a los corredores.
Por favor, envíanos un correo electrónico con tu número de teléfono, para que podamos agregarte al grupo de Whatsapp del Equipo, y así podamos encontrarnos fácilmente después de la carrera.

PAGO:
1) En efectivo durante los intercambios de idiomas anteriores (miércoles, jueves o viernes, última oportunidad el viernes 27 de marzo), a Aina, la organizadora.
2) A través de una transferencia bancaria.
3) A través de Revolut.
