Have fun learning languages and meeting new people
“I love this language exchange! Apart from allowing me to meet people of different nationalies and cultures, it gives me the opportunity to improve my level of English - and all in a great environment! Thank you!”
“I like The Friday Language Exchange because it's a great way to start the weekend. People are very kind and are always open to include you in their conversations. This is why it's not a problem to attend on your own, you quickly feel welcomed and laugh with other attendees. No matter how many classes you take, in the end what's most important are the opportunities to put into practice what you've learned. For that reason, Fridays have been the perfect occasion to train my ears and ultimately meet fantastic people.”
'I greatly enjoy The Friday Language Exchange because every Friday at 8pm when I turn up, I know I'll meet not only the familiar, friendly faces, both Spanish and foreigners, who turn up every week, just as I do, but also a cool bunch of new faces, who are passing through and looking for a great night to remember forever. It feels like a club. A club whose habitual members are welcoming and open-minded and keen to learn from each other, and to share fun chats and new experiences in English, Spanish and other languages with the passers-through who are always amazed at how easy it is to quickly feel that they, too, are a cherished, valued member of this club. I love Aina's proactive attitude to making sure that everyone feels comfortable and welcome.'
I like The Friday Language Exchange because it is a friendly place where you can meet many people from all over. If I want to go out on a Friday night, before, I always stop by Estación de Francia to meet my friends who are now like my family. When you move to a new city one of the difficulties is to meet new people and make new friends. This is a place where you can meet people from all over the world with whom to talk and discover new interesting things. In addition the place is cool, the drinks are cheap and there is nothing better than talking, with a cold beer in your hand. I recommend this exchange to everyone and, above all, I thank Aina who organizes with passion this wonderful event every week.
See you every Friday at Estacion de Francia's Bar and every Thursday at El Jardinet d’Aribau
